Clinical Quality Registry

Clinical Quality Management Registry software works as an automated proactive solution offering protocol guidelines for each patient based on patient histories and a database of recommended procedures.

Cielo Clinic

ANI is working with Cielo MedSolutions to help OSP physicians install and use Cielo Clinic, a quality care management system developed originally for The University of Michigan. This system was one of 12 selected by the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) for Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI).

Using a comprehensive chronic disease and multi-problem registry, Cielo Clinic creates "clinical dashboards" that contain information relevant to the patient visit such as required lab tests for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, and needed preventative screenings, such as Pap smears, immunizations, and mammograms.

Cielo Clinic tracks and reports on physician and group practice performance based on measures defined by organizations such as the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the US Preventative Services Task Force and other standards organizations.
Cielo Clinic enables physicians to make better decisions about preventive and chronic condition management at the point of care.

In addition to guideline-based point-of-care reminders, Cielo Clinic allows physicians to:

  • Proactively communicate with their patients through custom call lists and patient letters
  • Track and report clinical data by age, gender, chronic disease, and other key demographic features
  • Enhance clinical quality improvement and pay-for-performance metrics
