Effective July 1, 2019, BD Ultra Fine ™ Products will replace all other manufacturers as Blue Cross Complete’s preferred supplier of insulin syringes and pen needles.  If your patient has diabetes and needs to inject insulin, he or she can receive these covered items at his or her local pharmacy with a prescription.
