Meridian Announces: American Sign Language Translation Services
MeridianHealth (Meridian) recently contracted with a new translation vendor to better serve their members with hearing limitations who use American Sign Language (ASL). This vendor provides an application in which providers, in accordance with an ASL interpreter, can use video remote services to communicate with a member. This service is free of charge to you and only requires a device with a camera and microphone.
Beginning October 1, 2019, you can access this service by using the below URL or through the Certified Languages Video app. Once prompted, please use the access code below:

There will be a user guide of step-by-step instructions on how to use the Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) service posted to the Provider Bulletin page at www.mhplan.com.
