Oakland Southfield Physicians (OSP) is pleased to be part of the Michigan Patient Experience of Care (MiPEC) project. MiPEC is a state-wide collaborative convened by the Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC) and Alliance for Health; consisting of representatives from OSP, other physician organizations, health plans, and state-wide organizations.
MiPEC offers OSP offices the opportunity to implement the Clinic Group - Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey (CG-CAHPS) to collect and measure patient feedback.
OSP, in conjunction with MiPEC, has retained National Research Corporation to conduct patient experience surveys and provide summary reports. The summary reports will help offices:
- Identify areas of opportunities, strengths and weaknesses, and patient comments
- Provide comparative results against similar offices on a regional, national and/or like specialty basis
- Satisfy key patient centered medical home (PCMH) and other industry patient satisfaction requirements
