Blue Cross Complete recently made updates to the authorization requirements to ensure that reimbursement for services  are furnished in the most appropriate and cost-effective setting for the member’s medical needs and condition.

Please see the attached updated authorization grid and plan notifications for:

• ​Ambulatory surgery procedures
• Outpatient surgical procedures​

Please be advised that the updated authorization will take effect on June 1, 2020.
