Blue Cross Complete covers telehealth visits for their members in accordance with State and Federal policy. Recently, they have experienced an increase in telehealth claims containing CPT codes 98966 or 98967 for telehealth services. As a reminder, the aforementioned codes are not listed on the MDHHS list for COVID-19 or telehealth. As a result, claims containing incorrect codes for telehealth services will deny for payment.  If you have received a denial for the codes listed above, please submit a corrected claim for reimbursement.
