Priority Health Partners With BioIQ to Launch A New Campaign to Assist in Closing Gaps in Care

Posted: 10/12/2021

Priority Health, share’s your goal to help your patients, their members, get and stay healthy. That’s why they’re excited to partner with BioIQ once again on a campaign to close gaps in care.

How does this campaign work?

Starting week of September 21, 2021, BioIQ will send the following test kits to members who haven’t completed them this year:

  • Colorectal Cancer Screening (FIT Kit)

  • Nephropathy Screening (Microalbumin Test)

  • HbA1c Screening (Hemoglobin A1C test)

Why is this campaign important?

By addressing barriers like time and transportation, Priority Health is helping members stay up to date on these important screenings – getting the care they need, when they need it.

Additionally, when members return their kits, their PCPs receive PIP credit. Kits returned by December 31, 2021 will apply credit to the 2021 PIP program year. Those returned later will apply to 2022.

In 2020, 5,377 members received colorectal cancer screening kits, with 1,113 kits returned. They hope this campaign will be successful again in 2021 as Priority Health will expand to close other critical gaps in care.
