Priority Health’s Annual Campaign to Close Gaps in Care

Posted: 10/13/2022

Priority Health’s annual campaign to close gaps in care, in partnership with BioIQ (a Let’s Get Checked company) kicked off Monday, September 12, 2022. This year’s campaign targets Priority Health members, your patients, who have a gap in care for:

  •  Colorectal Cancer Screening (FIT or FOBT Test)
  • Kidney Health Evaluation (egFR Test)
  • HbA1c Screening (Hemoglobin A1C test)

Your patients who return their test kits to BioIQ by December 31, 2022 will count towards your 2022 PCP Incentive Program (PIP) participation. See the attachments for the BioIQ Provider Guide and an initial list of your patients who received a welcome letter and the appropriate test kits.

More information about the campaign:

Access the BioIQ Provider Guide for:

  •  More information regarding the clinical components of each test
  • Examples of kit materials
  • An outline of the member and provider result notification process

Both patients and their attributed PCPs will receive results for each returned kit. Patients will also receive positive results via a phone call from the BioIQ outreach team. Priority Health is also sending kit results to Oakland Southfield Physicians (OSP) distribute to our practice groups on a bi-weekly basis throughout the campaign.

In 2021, Priority Health sent more than 14,000 test kits combined and saw an average 23.8% return rate.
