Accu-Chek^® Guide blood glucose testing supplies were added to coverage for Priority Health Medicare, commercial group and individual members effective September 1, 2025, due to the following coverage changes coming for OneTouch^® products:

• For Medicare members: Beginning October 6th, OneTouch products will no longer be covered for Medicare members who use a retail or mail-order pharmacy. Preferred alternatives to OneTouch include Contour® and Accu-Chek Guide blood glucose testing supplies. Medicare members who obtain OneTouch products through a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supplier will remain covered.
• For commercial group and individual members: Beginning October 1, OneTouch products won’t be covered for commercial group and individual members who are new to the product. Those already using OneTouch products will remain covered through December 31, 2025.

Notifying members
Impacted members will receive letters from Priority Health informing them of the change, with Medicare member letters going out, and commercial group and individual member letters going out on November 1, 2025.

Priority Health asks that, if your patients contact you, work with them to find alternative, covered options.
