Blue Cross Complete strongly encourages providers to enroll in the COVID-19 Vaccination program now so they’re ready to offer vaccines to pediatric patients in the future.

To become a COVID-19 vaccinator, providers must be enrolled in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention’s COVID-19 Vaccination program. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is encouraging independent and health system affiliated pediatric providers to enroll now in preparation for COVID-19 vaccination of children. Although the exact timeline for when to expect authorization for children less than 12 years of age is still unknown.
