CVS Health and Novo Nordisk have created a partnership to lower the cost of prescription medications with their first focus on human insulin. Reduced Rx™, a free prescription savings program, became active as of May 10, 2017 for patients to sign up and use. The program allows patients to purchase medications out of pocket at a reduce cost. This discount program is available for all patients to use and cannot be combined with any prescription drug insurance program.

To sign up for the program, patients should visit Reduced RX and enter their email address. A card is immediately available to print and take to any qualified pharmacy. The website also allows patients to find a participating pharmacy and view an up-to-date discounted medication list.
