HAP Eliminates Paper Checks as Payment Option

Posted: 05/12/2020

Effective July 1, 2020, HAP will no longer generate paper checks as a payment option. Instead, funds will be electronically deposited to the financial institution of your choice. With electronic funds transfer, or EFT, you can expect payments deposited in your account with no delay and no more lost or stolen checks.

Signing up EFT with HAP is easy. Below is an overview of the steps.

  1. Complete HAP’s EFT application.
  2. Sign and submit the application to HAP’s AP/Disbursements department.
  3. HAP will send an electronic pre-note to receiving financial institution to ensure accuracy.
  4. Upon confirmation of a successful transfer, all future payments will be electronically transferred. You’ll be notified by email that payment is on its way.

You can find the EFT application by clicking here. It can also be found under Quick Links when you log in at hap.org.
